Rapid Acceptance of iPad 2 Expected From Medical Field

Always one to keep up with trends, Apple has recently launched their newest ipad, otherwise known as iPad 2. Keenly aware of their first design’s drawbacks, the new version has two cameras, upgraded graphics and processing capabilities. With all that this product has to offer, it has tremendous potential to be a useful tool for health care professionals.

According to Mobile Marketing Watch article, Apple’s iPad 2 May Promote Further Mobile Health Advancements, the new iPad will enable physician to “take pictures of their patients’ wounds, upload the images, and share them with colleagues as they seek to improve patient care.” Particularly helpful in rural areas, where hospitals may be distant, the new iPad 2 is sure to provide an excellent resource for physicians.
